Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the first moments in her childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first met him in 2007 during an acting workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged the year 2009 and wed at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows after her change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the good information that she was pregnant while filming Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of final season of production. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
